How they ended up here / Why Planning or Design

​After spending college and her early career in a variety of subjects, including sociology, math, and geography, Amanda found planning to be the intersection of all her skills and interests – data analysis, social science, problem solving, and bringing people together. Amanda is passionate about planning because urban design plays a major role in people’s health and happiness.

 

Favorite part of their job

​Amanda’s favorite part of the job is getting together with her colleagues to talk through clients’ wicked problems and collaboratively coming up with steps to solve them.

​Amanda enjoys the outdoors, knitting and sewing, rowing, and scary movies.
