Tampa Comprehensive Plan

Line and Grade assisted with a significant update to the comprehensive plan for the city of Tampa, Florida, focused on the future land use section.

We conducted stakeholder and community engagement meetings and presented recommendations at city board meetings.

The team also completed a detailed assessment of the future land use categories and developed new land use policies for the updated comprehensive plan.

• Development of comprehensive plan language on topics including redevelopment, urban growth strategies, and incentives for affordable housing, green buildings, transit-oriented development, and mixed-use development 
• Creation of a press kit, including draft social media postings, email templates, a frequently asked questions flyer, and bilingual flyers to promote public meetings
• Public-facing presentations for a series of public engagement meetings to update the public on the progress of the plan and to gather feedback
• An engagement summary report summarizing feedback and key takeaways received from online and in-person public engagement and stakeholder meetings
• Graphics to illustrate each future land use category and new policies
