Tonsler Park Redevelopment

Between 2014 and 2024, Line and Grade contributed to four projects at Tonsler Park in Charlottesville, with each project incrementally contributing to the implementation of the Tonsler Park master plan.

These projects included rehabilitation and reconstructing the basketball courts with on-demand lighting and NCAA regulation courts; creating a splash pad which integrated with stormwater management facilities; establishing a new pedestrian access point from McIntire Road; and reconstructing the existing parking lot to include additional parking spaces.

During the lifecycle of this project, Line and Grade worked for a number of different project managers and Parks department directors.

The revitalized park is now able to better meet the growing needs of its diverse constituents.
