A very visible project on a very delicate site, Line and Grade has designed the site and civil engineering to support the re-development of an existing park into a 30,000 SF skate park. All civil engineering and site work was performed to protect an existing grove of hardwood trees on a site with significant slopes. The retrofit stormwater management design utilized entirely LID alternatives and above-ground conveyance networks in order to avoid trenching. Also, a clever ESC plan was developed to bypass significant drainage in order to allow the sediment traps to remain small and thus avoid impact to tree root zones.
