Dairy Road Bridge provides an integral connection between the Greenbrier Neighborhood and Walker Elementary School. An in depth field evaluation determined that the condition of the existing sidewalk on Dairy Road was structurally deficient and dangerous. Line and Grade developed an emergency repair plan that involved deconstruction of the original sidewalk and replacing the pedestrian path with a dedicated prefabricated bridge structure. The existing conditions were further complicated by the high-voltage electric lines overhead. The installation of the new structure needed to be carefully considered and carefully executed.
